The nine of us
Six people behind the camera, one who makes shoot day run on time, one who makes sure nobody hates how they look, and one who works out how we do all of it in cities we don't live in. Our studio is at 545 8th Ave in Midtown, two blocks from Penn Station, close enough that people walk over on a lunch break. We also come to your office anywhere in New York, and we shoot live-directed remote sessions across Europe, the US and Asia.

Who runs the studio

Alex Karnyukhin
Founder, Art Director & Head of Photography
Alex founded the studio, leads the photographers and still shows up with a camera. If your shoot is on his calendar, he is the one shooting it. He owns the lighting and retouching spec every session follows, which is the unglamorous reason a portrait made in our Midtown studio matches one made in your office.
Alongside the studio, he has shot more than 30 covers for Forbes, Inc., Esquire, GQ, Men's Health and many other magazines around the world, plus advertising campaigns for Reebok, Puma, Adidas and many other global brands.
Dmitry Rollins
Head of Global Development
Dmitry runs everything outside New York: new markets, studios, crews, and the standard that keeps every team consistent, so a headshot from Singapore perfectly matches one from Fifth Avenue. He also co-founded CLOS, the remote-shoot app behind all our sessions, turning a global rollout from months of scheduling into a week of shooting.
Irina Chistikina
Lead Producer
Irina coordinates every project we run: the room, the schedule, the sign-up sheet, the order your people move through in the time you actually have, and the gallery afterwards. If the day runs smoothly, that was her. She is also who your quote comes from, so she is the one to email.
The photographers
Each of them owns a lane. Whoever fits your shoot is the one who shows up, and all of them shoot to the same spec.
Victoria
Lead Photographer · Executive & LinkedIn
Victoria shoots our executive and LinkedIn work: founders, C-suites, and the partner who needs to look approachable on a bio page by Friday. If your CEO is in the chair, she is usually the one behind the camera. Most people arrive a little stiff. That part is normal, and it is most of what she is directing for.
Ann
Lead Photographer · Personal Branding
Ann shoots personal branding: the founders and consultants who need a whole set of images for a website, a deck and months of posting, not one headshot they will be bored of by March. Her sessions run longer, with more looks, because that is what a set actually takes.
Roman
Lead Photographer · Conferences & Events
Roman shoots conferences and events: badge photos, speaker portraits, and headshot booths that have to move a room full of people before the next session starts. He describes his own work as commercial and documentary, which is why his event portraits look like people rather than like a queue.
Hair and makeup, in-house
Most studios hand you a list of freelancers. We have one person, she knows the lighting we shoot in, and she is on set.
Anna Cherchen
Lead Makeup & Hair Artist
Anna Cherchen does makeup and hair on set, including grooming for the people who have never once thought about either and would rather not start now. Ten minutes in her chair is the difference between a photo that is fine and one you would actually put on the leadership page.
Outside the studio she works across beauty, fashion and commercial production. Her credits include projects for Bulgari, Reebok, KFC, plus editorial work for Vogue, Forbes, Tatler, Cosmopolitan, InStyle, Elle Girl and The Hollywood Reporter. She is available for studio sessions and on-location shoots, and she is worth adding when the photos are going somewhere permanent.
When your people are not in New York
Two photographers, two halves of the clock. Same direction, same spec, no one shooting at 3am.
Elina
Remote Photographer · Europe & US Coverage
Elina directs remote sessions across Europe and the United States. She runs the light, the camera height, the posture and the expression live over video, using the phone the person already owns. No app filter, no AI, and no "stand near a window and hope".
Sofia
Remote Photographer · Asia-Pacific & Rest of World
Sofia covers Asia-Pacific and the time zones outside Elina's map. Same live direction, same spec, at an hour that is not the middle of the night for your staff, which they will notice and mention.
How nine people produce one look
This is not a bench of freelancers we go and find after you sign. It is one spec, one schedule and one retouching pipeline.
One spec, set in advance
Lighting, background, crop and retouching level are agreed before anyone sits down. So the CFO photographed in March matches the CFO photographed in September, and nobody has to explain why.
One person art-directs it
Alex sets the spec and every photographer here shoots to it, whether in the studio, at your office, or over video. That is what makes a set look like a set.
One retouching pipeline
Files from every city go through the same hands. You get one brief, one look, one person to email and one invoice, whether your person sits in New York, Lisbon or Singapore.
